Styling outfits to your body correctly is key to elevating any style. Like any body type, some styles will look good on some people but not others. But, these styles I can guarantee will look good on those gorgeous curves! When styling this body type, you want the balance out the curves while also accentuating the waistline.
Bell Bottom Pants - The style of these pants allows balance with your curves due to the flared leg. The secret to the flare though, is the flare should start below the knee. It gives the illusion of longer legs and more balanced proportions. The bigger the flare, the higher the start should be.
Straight Legged Pant - Straight legged pants give the illusion of elongated legs that once again give a balanced look. Ideally, the pant should stop anywhere from the ankle to the just pooling at the foot.
But what should pants for curvy women include? The answer is a high-waisted pant line. A high-waisted pant is KEY to accentuating the waistline.
Align and form-fitting dresses are the best options for curvy women as they show the hip to waist ratio. Any length is great for these types of dresses. But with alignment, the sinched part should hit the smallest part of your waist or right above it. Otherwise, it can look frumpy.
With shirts, I feel we are not as restricted. Tucking in the shirt on the front or tucking it all around with a belt looks great with any style pant!
