At Home IPL Treatment

What is IPL? It is a treatment for hair removal! IPL is an alternative to hair removal treatment that you can do right in the comfort of your own home.

The device uses light therapy to diminish the hair follicle just like laser hair removal. And the plus side is that it can be used anywhere including the face!

Laser hair removal was not in the budget for me, but I still wanted some form of permanent hair removal. I came across a device called ULike. ULike is an at-home IPL device that you can use to remove hair!

It is a much cheaper alternative that you can use also when you shave in between sessions. That is the downfall of lasering...no shaving!!

DISCLAIMER!!! This method does not show results as quickly as laser hair removal and requires many sessions to see results. It is also recommended to cover your skin from the sun 7 days after doing your last session to prevent skin pigmentation and scarring.

I have been using mine for about 6 months now. For the first 3 months I was doing sessions every other day at the medium/high setting. After the first two weeks I saw a noticeable difference in the growth of my hair. Depending on the body part that you use it on determines the intensity that you use. You may also have the opportunity to lower the intentsity or frequency of the device as you continue with treatment. I have also noticed that shaving is much easier and quicker with hardly any bumps.

I am so impressed with this device in every way possible! It is an investment, but when compared, it is much cheaper than laser hair removal.
