Best Clarifying Products on the Market

As a girl who usually washes her hair once a week, I know a thing or two about clarifying products. In conjuction with washing my hair once a week, I also have very thick, coarse hair. I need something that will strip all the grease and styling products off my scalp.

The two that I think work best are the Hairitage An Apple a Day ACV Hair Rinse and the Briogeo Scalp Revival Charcoal + Tea Tree Buildup Detox Spray.

The Hairitage ACV Hair Rinse is an apple cider vinegar rinse that you apply pre shampoo. You can apply to dry or wet hair (definitely more effective on wet). Rub the product in, let sit for 5 minutes and you are set to rinse it! I follow up with any cleansing shampoo and my hair feels good as new! With it being a stronger detoxer, you do not need to follow up with a strong clarifying shampoo, a cleansing one is perfectly fine. A bonus is that it doesn’t have a strong scent.

As for the Briogeo Detox Spray, this is applied pre shower. Spray all throughout the roots on dry hair and let it sit for 15 minutes. I then rinse it out and follow up with a clarifying or cleansing shampoo depending on what is needed. If I have a lot of buildup, I will follow up with a clarifying and if I do not, I will follow up with a cleansing shampoo. If you have finer or thinner hair, I would recommend this one as it is a lighter formula.

Amongst my credentials for clarifying hair products, I also need one that will not aggravate my psoarsis. Thankfully these do not.

I even find these products sooth a flare up and can be used as a replacement to my psoriasis shampoo.
