My Favorite Nail Polish Brands

I have been doing my own nails for years. I am very particular with the products I use and have accumulated a very specific list for what I need in products. With nail polish, I stick to regular polish. I like to change my nails frequently and do not want to damage my natural nail with certain products. My favorite nail polish brands are my favorite for a reason! They all include these qualities: longevity with no chipping or cracking, even and opaque in 2 coats, not too thick, and quick drying time.

Here are my favorite brands...

Expressie by Essie

The regular Essie brand is great, but I have found the Expressie line is even better! Expressie is the quick drying line for Essie. The line of colors is great, and they are coming out with shades so often. A neat addition they added to this line was a slanted brush. It makes it easier to hold the handle and polish your nail.

OPI Nail Lacquer

OPI has been around for ages and is a staple to many! It has great even coverage and dries very quickly since it is a lacquer. However, due to it being a lacquer, it is not great to use on more humid days. Humid days/areas do not allow the nail polish to dry properly causing a milky effect to appear. That being said, it is perfectly fine to wear if it was applied before a humid day.

Sally Hansen Insta-Dri

This option is the least expensive out of all of them, but it is just as great! Just like all them, they are opaque and very even in 2 coats. Pop a topcoat on and it is locked in.

I am always on the look-out for more nail polishes to try. There are a few brands I want to try in addition to these - Olive & June, Ella + Milla and Mooncat Polish are just a few.
