Review on Olive & June Nail Polish

I have tried tons of nail polish brands and have been wanting to branch out and try new ones. For the last 2 months, I have been testing out the Olive & June Long Lasting Polish in the shade CV/Cherry Red.
Unfortunately, the nail polish did not work for me! It applied smoothly, but was a little too sheer for my liking even after two coats. It was also not long-lasting…at all! Usually, with my nail polish routine, I can get a week without any chipping. Not with this one…Within 2-3 days, I was getting chips to the point that my actual nail was chipping off, which never happens! The brand also advertises this product as long-lasting!!
Shown below are pictures of my nails 2 days after application. I forgot to take an initial picture after the application, but the base coat used was a Sally Hansen pale pink base coat. The base coat was mostly used for the purpose of improving opacity, which it did. I have used this base coat with other brands and on its own before, and had not encountered any longevity issues with it until using this brand. In spite of that, my nails still chipped immensely all around the free edge AND the cuticle as seen in the pictures!
I even applied cuticle oil daily to help prevent chipping, and it did not help!
I will have to try another color from this brand to see if the problem persists, as I have heard such good things about this brand.
